Hi, im finishing my swap (185rc in 6th gen gts) and i get a code 54, intercooler low level or pump disfunction. I tried to ground the pink wire and all that ive found to try on internet, doesnt work.

finally, i found that a intercooler ecu exist in the 185rc. I dont have it. Is there any way to bypass the code. For example, if you use a front mount setup you surely have the tip to clear the code 54 from the ecu. HOW !!!!???

Thanks for help!!!

You don't need the inter cooler ECU. All you need to do is ground the pink wire on the ecu. Don't forget to reset the CEL codes once you ground the correct wire.

I'll see if I can find my old thread.

i did what you say but the code is always there, what are the pins in the ecu that have a link with the intercooler system and what data they receive from each connection?

I can't find my old threads about this. The search feature is not cooperating with me. Next time I see the car I'll note the wire location.

Look at the back of the 22 Pin connector. On the bottom row 4th from the right is the wire that needs to be grounded. Do that and clear your codes and you will not have a code 54.

This has been verified by both Jeff and I with our RC ECUs. The only reason this wouldn't work is if the ECU is from a 3rd Gen 3SGTE.
