I plan to do it, i just started saving money for it like 2 days and i've already somehow come up with 600 dollars so im well on my way.
my plans are very simple - i'll be happy with 200 hp, even less. so honestly dont even mention 3sgte. i'll get my goals with this and its a nice starter. i've had my car for 5 years now and havent done nething major im keeping this kind of like a weblog post style, as far as parts that im going is still out there. researching before i decide to ask stupid questions i do know one thing tho. -Parts List: Dont Have. I DONT NEED NETHING ELSE! muhaha ----------------------------------- -Do Have: Garrett T3 Airesearch 40 Trim Turbo $500 (for both manifold and turbo) log-style turbo manifold 380cc Deka Top Feed High Impedence Injectors $75 Vortech 12:1 FMU $40 4afe exhaust manifold gasket $25 10k HiD kit from cupable $134 Greddy Type S BoV (thks to Jester ) $75 MR2 2 Bar Map Sensor $80 Oil relocation kit from trans-dapt part number ZX282564 $45 Greddy Emanage Ultimate $450 !! OMG, STOLEN haha ;D Supra NA Walbro pump 255 lph. $99 Denso Iridium Spark Plugs ($9 each) oil restrictor $19 braided oil feed/return lines $44 + $ 28 Rogue Works FMIC $260 TurboXS Dual Stage MBC $210 jessica likes turbo. completely assembled and waiting boost and a/fm showing what i had to modify to make it fit full shot engine-bay before i started cleaning taped off and ready to paint! she needs some cleaning she's kind of dirty stripped out the back half of the interior (left the tire in at the time because the next day i was heading up to seattle) after the first coat. actually, i did. but, yet again they're near identical engines so saying 4afte'er isnt quite as the in crowd
on a follow up on the 4afe swap, i've had a run with another friend of mine who owns a 97 celica st, and im quite impressed on how much quicker the 4afe is to the 7afe and if u were wondering its japanese spec 4afe, which is rated @ 115 hp @6000 rpm (which is identical to the US spec 7afe), i have yet to find the torque numbers for the 4afe japanese spec, but in all the places i've read about the make of 4afe its naturally a much torquier engine due to its narrow valve angle. side note : engine miles - 39,428. she's a youngin' i love getting parts!! <3 authentic greddy type s bov. thanks to jester 12:1 FMU and Mr2 2 Bar Map Sensor! mmm what am i up to ? New Parts! woo. oil feed/return! showing what i did awhile ago... painted the valve cover ;D rep it, and rep it soooo hard. so i came down to boost control. only two routes to go, manual or electronic. feel free to post what route i should go.
going in tomorrow to talk to brian from autometrics, the local dyno/tune shop. i just swung by there today to check things out! the owner had a Porsche 911 Turbo running @ 512hp. jealous much? aye! i did some research on the Garrett Airesearch T3 Turbo, came out of a lotus espirit - runs to ~23 psi just fine which is well within my goals of 200 hp. with a 40 trim .42 a/r compressor wheel and standard T3 trim .48 a/r turbine wheel. but no one thinks this 200 hp is too high of a goal? cuz i have nearly an identical build to a corolla with a us spec 4afe that made 214hp on 14psi and ran strong for about 2 years on that same boost.
i wont be boosting nearly close to that to daily, probably 7psi. 14psi for track days. -------------------- the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

Question: would the Walbro 255lph pump for a SC400 (part number# GSS 342) be a direct fit, and is 107$ a fair price for this? (after shipping)
i read the stickie on the right one, i was just double checking also, should i get an FPR? pictures of my new goodies will come later on today :: This post has been edited by Blakout16: Sep 2, 2007 - 7:34 AM -------------------- the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.

im not sure what brand the A/F gauge is - i bought it off the same guy who i bought the turbo off of. its a single wire o2 sensor A/F gauge. its basically a light show
as for the header, im not sure. as for fitment on the 20v, the only difference between the 4age 20v and the 4afe 16v is the head. not like ur only 2 hours away to check if u wanted! -------------------- the 1/4 doesnt have patience for a ST.... so we make them ST-T's so atleast we'll sound good going slow.
