As for the topic, it depends....i think the 185 motor is more cost-effective, because regardless, if you want to make good numbers you have to switch to a standalone ECU.... |

The 205 is far better.
standard 205s run 250-280hp, standard 185s are a fair bit lower 180-220hp Main improvements to 205: Revised sump and baffling - to include engine/gearbox bracing Revised oil system - pressure regulator and oil pump Revised head - shim under bucket, different exhaust cam Revised intake manifold - junks TVIS, different sized entry ports, larger throttle body Different pistons - different material and CR Metal head gasket Fuel system - Larger injectors, different fuel rail Management - better ECU, ditched AFM (hurrah!) Turbo - bigger and runs more pressure Revised intercooling - back to WTA system, with a dump valve Revised PCV system - catch can fitted with drain -------------------- |
