it takes a little bit of time, but it's pretty easy. I had the prosports, and I know they have 4 wires coming out the back. you hook one to a switched 12V power source, one to a ground, and then run the other two into the engine bay to the sensor.

I've seen people mount gauges below their CD player, but I have no idea how they did it.

it says its for a single din spot..so unless you have a double din unit, it should work pretty good.

I've got autometer a/f ratio and voltage, and i ordered that DIN pod that 6strings was talking about... it may be a bit before i get them up, but i'll post when i do... kinda need one more gauge though. autometers run about the same price. find he part number on the autometer website, then froogle or ebay it.

I'm in the process now of installing the din pod from ebay. lets just say that a dremel is coming in really handy. i'll post some pics later. right now i'm repainting the trim panel and pod.

just around the edges of the trim panel, and some spots to make the tabs of the holder fold over. i actually did it twice, once on a crap trim piece from the bone yard (destroyed that one on purpose), then on the one i'm actually going to use. you'll see in the pics what i had to do.

Numbers below correspond to the pics for reference.
1. These are where the tabs go. for the top ones (or bottom ones if you bottom mount) are cut up toward the vents more (green circles). they are also shaved more on the edge below the area cut down to bend the tab so that it can be popped in, then slid up into the slits. once in there and ready to mount, bend the tabs over and it will hold very well.

2. Right here are cut outs for the gauges. you could cut all the way across, but i figured this my look a little cleaner until i get a chance to somehow "mold" them in.

2 (second picture, bottom big circle). This was a futile attempt to mod the bottom part so that i could fit the bezel ring around the cd player. no dice. leave the cd player half of the opening alone.

I'll post completion pics soon. Working on clear coat now.
