As i was bringing my car back to stock, and we purchased sarah's coupe, i noticed that she has a vent that we dont have since her car is a USDM car. I managed to find the pipe i need and the vent from the wrecked convertable we got all the parts for my interior off.

and the vent is right under where the steering colum is.

Im just curious cuz i have never seen one of thouse that came factory on a canadian model. I dunno if it just didnt come on my model cuz of the features that the original owner wanted, or if it just didnt come on any. I think its kinda strange that it didnt come on my almost fully loaded GT, but it came on my girlfriends almost lowest model ST.

I just did some research on it and it's standard on all US celicas. If there's no AC then instead of the "vent" on the panel there is a cover. The CAD guys just have the strait tube for some reason.

if its blocked off, then no...the pipe its self will be a solid peice. I put the vent into mine and i had to switch the cross over pipe.

all you need is the cross over pipe and the vent that just pops out of the plastic. It took me like 5 min to install...well...more like 40 cuz i was cleaning up all the hackjob wiring that i did when i first got the car and from my friend who installed my alarm.

Ever wonder what the rectangular small plugs are for? The one on the radio's side is for security (Genuine Toyota) but the other one? Heated seats? Just wondering! smile.gif
