Im planning to visit 2 junkyards that have manual 6gen in couple of days. Im planning also to do an engine swap in couple of years (it will be from a st205 clip...since im auto and will need alot of misc parts). Are there any parts that it would be a good idea to pick up for my auto-manual swap? Im asking this since i know that it's not all front clips that come with all needed parts for a auto to manual swap. I dont want to run for misc parts after i get my clip.

im thinking about grabbing everything from the shift knob to the shifter cables...what do you think?

TIA

get the entire clutch pedal assembly (that bolts to the wall) and the brake pedal itself, also get the shifter assembly and the cables like you said. Try to get the axles if you can smile.gif

The lines you can get new from a dealer for little $, the master cylinder and slave get new/rebuilt.

thx for the reply batman, but i dont think the axles will help since im planning to use hybrid axles for the swap like everyone is doing/suggesting (mr2 inners and st185 outers). Or am i missing something?

can i just use my brake pedal? or there's a difference between mine and manual ones?

thx again

the automatic has the wider pedal where the manual pedal is smaller so the clutch pedal can fit down there.
