Hello everyone-
i'm thinking about getting the Greddy SP2 exhaust soon. At the same time i might put in headers too. I'm hearing a lot about Camry headers for the 6gc. what's the advantage of the Camry headers? are they larger? also can you guys explain what wrapping the headers means and what's the gain? and finally if you guys think I should get another type of header instead of the Camry, please feel free to toss it out there. Thanks a bunch -------------------- |

There is no difference between the Camry header and the Celica one. Same engine. Also wraping is done with fiberglass header wrap from companies like DEI. It keeps the exhaust gasses hot all the way out of the header and keeps under hood temps down while keeping the exhaust flow up. I wrapped the header for my ST and I noticed an instant difference. Also I can almost hold my hand on the header after driving it. Here is what it looks like.
