instead of putting a new engine in my car with a turbo on it. Why not just rebuild the engine it has like striping it right down to the block and change all the bad things caused by the high millage (166,000) and then put a turbo on it it would run like new and be faster. i have a 94 celica gt with a 5s-fe 2.2L i think it comes stock with 135 hp and 140 tq. my parents were going to drop 15 grand for a new car but i just told them to give me 7g's and let me put it in the car. would this be a good idea
plz respond, i need ideas |

I concur. If your parents are going to pay for another car, go find yourself an IS300.

Well it depends if the car has sentimental values to you or not...if so then why not rebuilt then turbo it. Otherwise you know what you do.
In case ur wondering...I didnt sell my car b/c it means alot to me, didnt exactly turbo it but I've bought a 3sgte halfcut and long with tons of goodies and cramped it all in my car (costing me almost 14k) while i could sell my car and buy a real st205 gt4 for 17k..But thats just me. -------------------- 98% completion --- aaRon |
