Hmm, you might buy some clear bulbs and a orange marker. just put a little orange on the bulb (if it sticks) and they'll be white with an orange tint maybe... Or you could just buy PIAA bulbs which I'm sure would look great.

just a quick reminder: Most states its illegal to have clear turn signals with white bulbs. Not to be a grouch, but my friend got busted for it, had to take them off, and pay a fine. Just check with your DMV.

I know in Washington state, clear corners with white bulbs are fine. If the bulbs have any sort of a bluish tint however, they're considered illegal and you can get pulled over for them. I used to have Polarg hyperwhite bulbs in both my turn signals and side markers, but I got pulled over for them, so now they're gone and I just have amber colored bulbs in there.

I hate california sometimes. Too many dang laws. Emmissions laws, lighting laws, and too high of sales tax. Plus Arnold is gunna be our next governor. How embarassing.

Orange tinted light bulb will remedy that, still looks good when its off and still legal when its on.

I think the polarg are the most affordable and brigt choice, within polarg brand, there are 3 sets for our turning signal fitment--1157. those different models are m-12, m-14, and g-31, I know that m-14 is brighter than m-12, but not sure about if g-31 is brighter than g-31, but for sure g-31 is more expensive. ooh, all 3 models are in white color. and I think E-bay is the best place to get them.

I'm using PIAA Plasma White bulbs; perfect color temperature map

and scooby- white is legal in california; your friend should have been familiar with the CA laws.. here's the link: http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

QUOTE
Incorrect color of turn signal. It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC).

and sidemarkers:

QUOTE
Illegal color of side marker lights. If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear (25106, 24003 VC).

Thats where you could get in trouble- but since a majority of european vehicles have blue or white sidemarker lights OEM, that section of the vehicle code has been declared almost unenforceable, and a violation would be thrown out of court.
