i was wondering how much of a hassle it would be to go from manual to automatic transmission?
and how much would it cost me when i do the work myself? i need like a parts list, could i just trade stuff with an auto that wants a manual?

and before you all start to complain about how im gonna hate how slow the celi will be with an auto, its for my cousin and she texts wile she drives ...so the slower the better* im basicly ditching my celica to buy one with a 3s swap, im gonna be on cloud 9 as soon is i sell the car*

Why's she texting while driving to begin with? Aside from accidents, most traffic congestions are caused by people going slow, from what I've observed so far anyways.

If she wants auto to text while driving, then it sux for her cuz she shouldn't be doing that to begin with.

there is so much wiring involved...it would be crazy to attempt. I've done the A/T to M/T a couple of times and the extra wires from the auto are everywhere...intergrarted everywhere.

Just trade the car for an auto or sell the car to someone else.
