Your only forgetting one thing Martin. USDM Celica's dont have the Gaugecluster dim knob. So I dont think it would work.

Can it be added? I installed LED in my cluster but they still look pretty dim. If i could install the dim control, maybe that would help. Malpaso, how bout it? Do you have the part numbers? -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic. But revolutionaries built the Celica!"- Me |

Anyone know the part number for the dim control for the gauges? sorry for delay (you should write a PM for me ): however I'm not sure if it worths it... I mean it's dimmer so it may only dim the light not make it brighter... note: plus we have an answer here who has and who has not that damn dimmer . Europe + USA = YES and JDM imports = NO This post has been edited by malpaso: Jan 8, 2008 - 6:00 AM -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Thanks! Depending on the cost and the work, i'll get it anyway just to be different than the other JDMs around here.

I don't know if my 2¢ matters for this, but I have the dimmer thing and for whatever it's worth, I like NEVER use it. Every car I've owned has had it, and I just never have any need for it. You can't really use it if you have LEDs because it'll decrease the life of them, and the rest isn't so bright that it would, IMO, justify the time and effort to install.

But so far, the cost of the parts are around $5. If all it takes from me is time, then i'm ok with it because i would have learned a thing or two about wiring and i would have installed another factory "extra". But i still haven't found the part number 84119 yet (rheostat, light control). -------------------- "Remember, amateurs built the ark and professionals built the Titanic.
