I suggest you switch soon. They are not working with their clients very well. Both my mom and I were in accidents recently and we were placed at fault.

My Moms wreck:
She was waiting to leave a store, sitting still at the quite wide entrance/exit of their parking lot. Her truck wasn't even in gear. She wanted to turn right onto a 6 lane road (3 lanes each way, plus a turning lane), and was waiting for traffic to clear. Some guy pulls in, to the right of her, hits her passenger side with his passenger side. AllState places my Mother at fault.

My wreck:
I had just finished a left turn leaving a convenience store onto a 4 lane road (2 lanes each way). I turned into the lane closest to me, as I always do. A Durango came around a corner, after I started my turn, making a right turn, skips over the lane closest to him, and comes into my lane, hitting my rear quarter panel and door. AllState places me at fault.

Reasons they gave..
my mom should have moved out of his way
i should have yielded to him.

I don't think they correctly placed fault for either of the wrecks. But, please, correct me if im wrong.

u should have battled it. seriously if you threatened to take them to court and all that mumbo jumbo they woulda budged. my brother was hit by someone coming out of a parking lot. his insurance placed him at partial fault, but he battled it and it ended up becoming 0% his fault.

um... i thought that the officer who does the police report is the one that is supposed to place fault not the insurance company. confused.gif
i can understand your accident and how it could have been your fault but not your mom's. her's makes no sense to me at all. from how you described it the guy pulled in on the wrong side of the entrance/exit or your mom was trying to exit on the wrong side.
either way i would fight it.

yeah im still tryin to battle it. but who knows how it'll turn out. I've been hearing things like this from a few people.

my mom was on the correct side of the exit. there was just enough room on her right side for one car to go. but to her left there was enough room for atleast 2 cars.

i think in texas its the insurances thing to place fault

the guy who hit the celica had allstate. I fought with them for over 8 months because they wanted to total out the car, so i finally sent them pictures and they sent out a check to get it fixed.

They aren't the best dealing with people!
