i was driving my girlfriend home from ann arbor and it was raining out. we reached the top of this hill and started to go down it and i noticed the road looked funny and then realized that it was driving us right into water so i hit the breaks but it wasnt enough. We hydroplaned and i fish tailed all over the road and crash landed in the guard raile doing 60. frown.gif we are okay but the celica is done. -_-. GG.

thats just the front the back is all "effed" up as well. and just a small glimpse of it. the guy at the body shop says the frame is wrecked.

Sorry to hear about this, thank God nobody was hurt. If the car starts hydroplane unfortunately you can't do anything to stop it, it's a very sad feeling when you don't have the control of your car..

Hang in there Bro. I had my baby totaled exactly 1 month ago and I was in shock for a few weeks. I thought "If I just hadn't gone this way then that a$$hole wouldn't have killed her" and stuff like that. In the end I'm happier for it. I bought an already swapped car with the insurance money and took the excess money and used it to rebuild the tired motor [my first rebuild - a totally satifying experience] and replace the tired clutch with all top of the line parts and now I couldn't be more excited to drive my new girl. I took enough parts and mods from the old girl and added her to my new girl that I feel she lives again in a new infinetly faster/better body.
make your sorrow into a success like I did and you'll be complete again.
That's all the advice I can give you. Don't move on to another brand/model. The 6gc is irreplaceable - nothing will ever give you that feeling again except another.
There are plenty of swapped cars for sale on here - just find the one that suits you and do it!
Good luck bro - sorry for your loss. wink.gif

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.

ouuucchhh man, that's harsh--i too had an accident in the front due to hydroplaning but with my last car which lead me to getting this car smile.gif but dont wry man, i'm sure something too will come up good for you but just a heads up if you can find a way importing or passing the border without any problems, there's 6g's in Toronto that are like 2 grand and then you can just swap everything over.
Hate to have to see you give up the celica and part everything out or write it off to insurance.
