So, ive had my celica for just about 3 years now, and i love it, but i want somethin newer and somethin i dont have to keep throwin $ into all the time. I also want somethin with a bit more space in it. I ski, and BMX, so i want somethin i can put them in or on easie then in the in celica. I pretty much have to wedge my skis into the celica, and dont even ask about the bmx...lol Any ways, Im lookin into somethin a bit bigger, RWD or 4WD, still fuel efficent, but with a bit more power then the celica, somethin that i can modify, and somethin that is classy/sexy and agressive. Pretty much...i wanna find somethin that doesnt make me look like im some 20 year old driving around in the un-pracitcal sports car..i wanna go with somethin a bit more safisticated. Im looking to spend around $15K on the car.

So far ive been lookin at A4's, WRX, IS300 and thats about it. Ive always loved IS300's. There is just somethin about the look of them that makes them so sexy. Plus theres always room to modify on them, making it either an Altezza conversion, or swappin a 2JZ or a black top beams into it. WRX is obviously a tuner car, but has a bit of class to it aswell. and A4 is luxury + some power. If i got one i would get a 1.8T quattro model.

But i donno what i wanna get. So far ive found the A4 and WRX are easy to find with the options i want for under the $15k mark, but the IS300 not so much. Its really hard to find a IS thats stick.

Also there are some pro's and cons of each of the cars. A4's even though they are running the VW 1.8L motor, but they arent as easy to modify as the IS or WRX.

The IS, hard to find in a 5spd model in the price range im looking at.

And the WRX, every one says that the trannies on them is very delicate and are prone to breaking. But i havent been able 2 find out what exactly breaks, or what is so delicate with them. I see guys doing hard launches all the time in them, but have never seen one break. So, having to potenitaly deal with an expensive tranny issue.

Im mostly leaning towards a 2003 WRX wagon, just like the one that 95celicaST just bought.

Any thoughts??

Im gonna b finishin up the celica within the next month or 2 with some last minute bits, then driving it untill i have enough $ saved up for the new car.
