Gauge Cluster Lights failing Options

I recently bought a set of white LED's (194) for my gauge cluster and ever since I had them working perfectly and evenly, one has dimmed itself down and now the tachometer light is flickering constantly. The weird thing about it is that if you look close enough, you can that the numbers look like they're partially covered by something.
They used to look like this: (without the red needles)


Now they look like this:


Any ideas? I was suggested to check the current, grounds, and alternator. But I doubt that is the cause or else the first thing to lose power would be my radio and other instrument lights. Please help!

if they are the 5 matrix ones or whatnot, you possibly could of bumped the dimmer or something and caused a few of them to burn out, so now only say 1 or 2 of the 5 leds in each one is lit causing it to be dim

There really isn't any way to know because you have to have the dash plugged in to light them up. I'm wondering if these that I bought are a no-name brand cheap product. I can't even find the brand name on the package. On the package: Superlight(copyrighted), LED Auto Lamp, and TUV CERT IS0-9001. Should I spend more money and get a big brand name?

well.. the ones i got i paid about $4 a pop for and have had for several months and have a pwm setup to dim them safely, otherwise they are headache bright even with interior neons, 60,000mcd rated

i know the ones culpable is/was selling are good as are the ones dustin posted not too long ago, both of them are about $7 a piece

Yup I bought from culpable and he said I'm the only one with these problems. Its pretty irritating at night, I almost have a seizure. Should I just spend 11 bucks and get some PIAA or Matrix ones off ebay? I really want to get these fixed quick, along with both my cv shafts, lol.

you got crappy LEDs. Only buy from V-LEDs from ebay for the absoulute best IMO.

Hmmm, ok well he said he would give me a new set free of charge. Should I take him up on it or just go straight for a new set? I want to take him up on it for the reason that I could see if it might be a problem with my car or his lights. I'm torn between my options. Can you recommend an exact product?

haha yea its culpables speedo that he sent me. since mine obviously wasn't working perfect lol. its just a reference as it should look. there are a few different types of styles for these leds. i see a cylinder, a 5 bulb one and some funky odd ones. which should i get if i have bad luck with this next pair?

id take him up on replacements

if you dont want to go through ebay, frickinbrite is a good site, which sells the vleds i believe dustin is talking about, put some of these in some friends car's without any complaints.
