Well, that was the original 7a build from Nik. Now everyone has decided to go without check valves and FMUs and opted for an actual build. Which requires larger High Imp injectors (310cc or larger) a 2 bar map sensor (either from GM or most of us use a 3sgte map sensor.

For tuning, you can use the SAFC, an Apexi Neo works as well. If you want to go farther you can use a Greddy Emanage. However for the Emanage you need the full kit, the E- Blue does not have many tuning options.

As for 12 psi, that depends on what trim t3 you are running.

I will answer your other question as well for what other injectors to look at. RC engineering makes great injectors. I would honestly shoot for buying something thats 350cc or 360cc. The 315s are fine, but you can not push past 200hp with them. If you do buy used injectors, please send them off for flow testing and a good cleaning. RC engineering also does this for people, I believe it was $15 per injector.

Now, if you are looking to spend the money for injectors I would not skimp on the check valves. That was Niks first way of fooling the motor. Now we have a much better/reliable way of doing it. The 3s map sensor is just about $70-$80 used from MR2OC.

yeah but what im confused about is why we need a 2bar map sensor, isnt our stock map sensor able to read 1bar? so 15psi is more then enough for me.

It can only read Vac to 1bar of atmosphere (0psi). You need a 2 bar map to read boost up 15psi.

You could go with e-manage and get the greddy boost sensor for it.
You'll also get to controll the injectors and the fuel cut with it.

okk that makes alot of sense now, but i was also wondering if its just opinion or is it better to upgrade to a 2 bar map sensor then just use check valves?

I blew my headgasket on 14 psi boost, but I think it was in bad shape from before.
I have been searching for a upgraded one for 7a-fe and it looks like the one to use would come from a 4a-zge (think it was that, dont have my notes atm)

Greddy EM is also recomended so you can adjust fuel cut and ignition.
Still cant get the ignition to work but everything is ok.
Gonna make a howto as soon as I figure out the ignition wire.

@Pebel89: could you look at your ignition wire harness setup? Should be 2 wire's on plug number 2 on the EM blue.
