Hi!
I discovered that i have a wire that is not pluged into something...and there is a contact in the bottom of the engine. The contact on the wire is taped with a metal pin so it is short circuited. What does the contact on the engine do? Does it check the temp or just the oil level? Anyone that knows? /Johan (Swedish guy) |

I wouldn't think engine temp because that would be a bung into the block and that wire would "have" to be in there to prevent a leak...and oil level, there really isn't anything for that except the dipstick...maybe it was an aftermarket for oil pressure or maybe even fog lights or something like that.

Got some time to test it out and found out that if the cable is loose without a metalpin in it, the oil warning light turns on. Not really necesary but i think i will fix it some day...
