Anyone done anything nifty up in that region? Mine's looking a bit boring for my tastes even though I have the sunroof I still want to have something different there. Just looking to see if anyone has anything creative up there for some ideas or just cool to show off.

E E E AZY!~~~
K I won't go into detail... You first remove your headliner from your car first... Your headliner mold is made of fiberglass so that's how it keeps it's form... You then remove the cloth that is attached to it... You find the material you would like to use... (something thin so that you won't have a problem installing) You then spray or lay commercial cement glue... You then lay the material you want to use... You then smooth it out as much as possible... You then take a heat gun to go over it so that it'll stretch nice and neatly... You then cut the extra material around you head liner... AND BAM YOUR DONE!!! -------------------- <--- I miss :'' (

Personally i'm a fan of raised grafix... and whatever color span you want you can get... or you could use dye's to make the span whatever color you want. But for any simple color; they'd have it at your local fabric shop. That and a peice of that Z bored stuff, bout' 15-20 bucks and you've taught your car a new trick! -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! i re-upholstered my headliner/fixed it. When the guy who originaly bought my car got the aftermarket sunroof put in, they completely hacked up the original headliner, so when i took the material down to do it. it looked like this...
but with $25 worth of material and a good spray adheasive, it came out lookin like this.. its actually jet black, but the flash made it look kinda gray. That was my first try at it, now that i know what im doing, im gonna be doing keroppi's coupe's headliner in the same material as that, and re-doing mine in suade aswell as my a-pillars and maybe the material part of my door cards. |
