What would be the best Anti-Theft system for your car? An alarm system? Or a hidden kill switch that will not allow your car to be turned on or wired to run? I have been thinking once I start investing money into my car, living on the eastside of town that has a lot of people who are capable of disabling your car alarm with a magnet. What do you guys think? So far, for some reason, nobody touches my house or yard. But my neighbors across the way have had some crack heads just kick the door in at around 10AM (from the police report) and ransack the house. Another neighbor on the corner (The big bad gangster guy) has a brother in law who has his car stereo stolen (90' integra). The guy across the street from me had his SUV stolen (Supposedly, but I think he was late on a payment, seeing how he was making payments and figured if stolen two months ago, someone would already have a new car from insurance or something). Either way, these things happen. Just a paranoid question for you all. Right now the garage is not an option as we currently have band equipment in there.

Um. If you do it correctly, you can have both.

"Hmm. Ask him if he's the dragon reborn."
"What?"
"Just do it."
".......He said yes."
"Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."
".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."

Now there's an easy answer I didn't consider. How much do those usually run? I didn't even know they had car alarms with immobilizers. Wow! You really do learn something new every day. Thanks guys.

Hey thanks, but this topic was just regarding what people think regarding the choices. But I will keep that search button in mind. laugh.gif I guess you think I should use the search button. LOL

My friend had an impala with a really cool kill switch. If the cigarette lighter was pushed in the car wouldn't start, but if you pupped it out the car started.
