just started learning RHINO nurbs modeler. i hope to get good enough to model the Celica. tried BLENDER but the learning curve was way too steep. wish i could get my hands on a LWO or 3ds model.

comments and critique are welcome..no, encouraged !!!

try Lightwave... it's (IMO) a difficult interface to learn but has Oh So Many Possibilities!

Lightwave IS the cat's meow when it comes to modelling and rendering. i am only exploring 3d as a hobby so it's really tooo much software for my needs. do you model (3d)?

thanks again for the comments Daniel. i was inspired to piss away my afternoon on this. the gold and green are from UNC and the blue is for you. hope you like it. i have a larger, better resolution file if you want it. just pm me.

3dsmax, brazil - i think those rock & are the best for modeling & animation. plus brazil is an amazing renderer

on topic though - good stuff! i think the dragon should have rounded edges instead of right angles. but excellent modeling skills! seems like you are beginning and so far so good!

also... im a big fan of glass effects, try raytrace n those for the textures on the dragon. also a scaley (like gator scales) bump map would also add to the coolness
