Hey guys im still shopping around trying to find the best new amp to get and I realized how amazing this JL amp is... its 1000 watts rms at 1.5-4 ohms, so I could then wire my dual 2 ohm type r's at 2 ohms and be fine... Settings would have to be turned down way low on this bad boy since it has so much power; but does anybody have any input? Anybody ever had this amp in the celica?

Awesome bit of kit, i've had a few 500/1 running my JL W3 subs. All the JL stuff is top quality you won't regret buying & they hold their value if you ever want to sell it on.

Agreed. I have been out of the stereo seen for a while now but JL amps seem to be top quality. They are expensive but they hold there value. I myself have never purchased one, never had the funds to do so. If you have the money to spend and you actually need that much power, I'd say go for it.

I would deff go with that JL Amp. It will last you a long time and you have a bunch of wiring options with it.
