Well, the question is, are you ready to take a saw and cut a perfect hole in your roof, install, it and restore the body around it to ensure perfect fit. Then pull your interior apart to run the wires for power and (possibly) control. and then put it all back, and if you messed anything up during the install, such as cutting to largely, then you've got to pull it out, and figure a way to fabricate a portion of that roof back, otherwise it'll rain inside your car when it's raining outside. rolleyes.gif

I personally dont mess with em' and i've no problem doing body work. But this isnt me, it's you. Just know my only tip, is that this: it's a Pain in the Hassle.

Best of luck with that! biggrin.gif

*EDIT*

The best way to use Air-Cooling, is a convertible!! laugh.gif

To me, the hassle is not worth it but the risks of ruining the roof (rust, leaks, warps, etc.). If you are die hard for a sun roof its better to get a 6gc that has one.

sorry, i know that's not the answer you wanted, but i'd rather be harsh rather then lie and let you do yourself dirty.

Price shop everyone in town! and go for the 2nd lowest price. The cheapest guy is the cheapest for a reason. lol.

^ i would go for it...worst comes to worst you can just hack the whole roof off and make it a vert thumbsup.gif laugh.gif ...or just send it to a shop and let them finsih up where you couldnt...it'll be cheaper then having them do the whole thing...if you have the tools, skill, and time i say y not?
