yep. not a puff of smoke. Also, what mike did was attach an oil line fitting to my sump plug, and drilled a hole through. So thats the oil drain, hence no need to take off sump.

o and to let you know the way it was told to me and the way my setup is you shouldnt leave your pcv valve connected like that you should split the line and put in an oil catch can to keep boost out of ur engine

QUOTE(jesterwr217 @ Mar 21, 2008 - 7:41 AM) lol no prob but hey did you find out anything about they guy making more downpipes? he said he would love to, but the problem is that there is a great chance they might not fit properly. No two cars are not the same....especially if we all run different turbos and manifolds. Hope that makes sense. He said he would be happy to do oil drain kits thought. QUOTE(frisp @ Mar 21, 2008 - 8:08 AM) Looking good Funky Cheers buddy. Thanks for the comments guys. Thanks Dazols for fitting the brakes (ok, i did undo some of the bolts). more pics and vid of Mike giving it a blast. Right, well Mike called me a big girl and bought me a skirt. Well I wasnt having that, so while I was in the workshop working on another car for him, he fitted a boost controller and upped the boost. Now we had to drive to Rayleigh to drop off a custom inlet manifold he had done....and map my car to 0.5bar. In the passenger seat I went. Armed with notepad, pen, wideband guage and A'PExi SAFC2. Mapping was pretty much spot on. I actualy had to lean iy out 5% from 4k revs to 7k revs so my AFR was between 11 and 13.5. Not bad on boost. I was having issues with 'poodling' (30 - 40mph in 4th / 5th). I was running too lean on low throttle beween 2k revs and 4k revs. Just added 2% and that sorted it. Poodle AFR is now between 14 and 15. That's conservative. Here is a vid. enjoy |

ok heres those pics of the oil catch can ask if you have any questions o and as far as the downpipe goes the only difference in our cars is the flage to mate the dp to the turbo and i could send him my flange if he wants to try it but if not thats ok
