a shopping cart hit my car and now i have a dent right next to the light on the passenger panel.....is it hard to take off that panel?IPB Image

i cant seem to find it, but if u look in a how to thread for installing lambo doors, it tels u step by step on how to remove that panel...
i do know u have to remove ur bumper tho!

if you take off the splash guard you should be able to reach up in there... those panels dent pretty easy so it'll still prob leave a crease if it was bad enough.


so you are in anaheim, planning on attending any socal meets?

depending on how bad the dent is it might chip the paint. if you are worried about causing more damage yourself, then there are those paintless dent removal places that will come to your house and work their magic, if they can, for a fairly reasonable price.

there is a million fix-a-dent post. Really: 1,000,000. Thanks to this one, we are at 1,000,001. kindasad.gif

There was one a few pages back, i'll post it when i find it for ya, if not then search it out, there was 4-5 diff techniques to fix a dented panel. Good luck.

Suction cups, i use the ones off my radar detector, With some nylon twain string... And as I always say; My directions for suction cups is this:

"Get it wet, Stick it and Rip it." laugh.gif

yeah, we discussed that on the last one that poped up 2 days ago. The plunger if it's big enough, stick it and rip it suction cups if its smaller, and if it's smaller than that then heat it up with a blow dryer and put ice cubes on it.

Plus the traditional way of getting underneith it and pushing it out.

i used a suction cup my friend brought over.....it worked good...i tried to take the spash guard off but it was being held little plastic things that i didnt want to take off.....but i still undented it...lol
