i put the body kit on now i want to sand it down and primer it so i don't have to pay a body shop to do it. My question is what grit paper should i use, i've heard 1000 to 500 and should i use a power sander or just do it by hand.

I would do it by hand because its fairly smooth and ready to be primered already, u just want to get the rest of the bumps and stuff off.

you should start off with a rough grit say 150 to sand off as much of the paint as you can, you can also just use paint stripper, then work your way up to 1000 grit or even more
