I'm looking into eventually getting a turbo upgrade for my 3rd Gen swap. I was looking at 2 different kits. The street brawler kit on KO racing and the one on speed-source.net. The KO one is a little more expensive but you get the external wastegate and it seems like it's a little better maybe. Any of you know anything about either. Overall I hear both are good. I'm looking to get at least 300hp out of the car more is fine smile.gif This car isn't my daily driver so I have some time to accumulate parts for it. I know both kits will get me to my goal but is one better then the other? Street brawler used the t3/t4 turbo while the one on speed source is a garrett. Let me know your thoughts. THANKS!

the "streetbrawler" KO racing kit, and the speedsource gt28rs kits are 2 very diffrent things.
totally diffrent turbos, with totally diffrent specs.

the streetbrawler kit is a 350+whp kit, will spool later than stock, ect. its a VERY well made kit, if your looking to make that kind of power.

the speedsource kit is gt28rs based. a smaller, more effecint ball bearing turbo, normally making ~270-290whp @ ~17-19 psi.
spool is lightning fast, as quick as stock, and pulls HARD all the way to redline.
you'd be VERY hard pressed to find a better made '28rs based kit on the market.

that said, on a 3rd gen, 300whp is a twist of a boost controller away with the streetbrawler kit.
it would definetly be my choice.
