Sorry but not very familiar with cleaning up engine bays but is there a specific way this must be done?

Or is it simply spray engine degreaser all over engine bay, let it sit for a few minutes and then just rinse it all up, let it dry for a few minutes and start the car?
Do I have to cover the distributer or anything like that?

Make sure that the engine is warm.....not cold and not hot,you should be able to touch the valve covers.

MR clean biggrin.gif .

get yourself a leaf blower. It makes the drying faster.
