I think Coomer should come up with something that can send a text to our phone if we are watching a topic or get a new private message. :-)

if you set it to email you, you can then forward emails form the 6gc email address to your phone
like, a verizon phone email address is <your phone number>@vtext.com. most all carriers support that, just a matter of either setting up your 6gc account, or your email account. -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

I didnt think about the email option. I never receive emails because mine has been setup to go to an old email that i used about 1.5 years ago. Good idea! and no this site isnt that important to me but i do like to get back to people in a timely matter and if i know i have a message then while im waiting an hour for a ferry to dock i can log on via my phone to respond.

I have my blackberry attached to my email...... I HATE IT.... it goes off with 6gc reminders all the dam time... but thats my fault.. I keep subscribing to threads... boooooooo... all you have to do is get your cell provider to connect you to internet and attach your email.
