Correct me if im wrong. I need help. Options

Alright, So i bought an 8k HID kit. But i've been reading up more about them, and i may be wrong but with JDM projectors i have to custum fit them into my headlights to get them to sit in there properly?? I was reading the how to on it. But seems like a lot of work. Please correct me if im wrong.

i was prolly one of the people complaining about it...

if you put them in per the how to it will be fine.

im somewhat ocd... and i like maximizing things like this, so i spent some time, and used some tape to secure the bulbs being mounted at jus tthe right depth into the housing (via plastic spacers) and angle (via tape [masking to be exact]) then put on the dust covers which actually furthe rhold the tape down.

not enough heat was noticed after 2 hours with them on just sitting there with no cool air blowing over them (like when driving) so i dont see any hazards.

now they light up the road ALOT brighter and there arent bright spots or dim spots, just even bright flood of light infront of the car.

i have 12k's in now, and i also have a pair of 6k's the brightness is very noticable, but the 12's look nicer imo.

light output is equiv to some nicer mercedes, escalades with hid conversions, modded out s2000's as far as brighgtness with the 12k's

with the 6k's i pretty much overpower anything ive come incontact with. floods out their lights like they dont even have em on =)

plus, the cut off isint as bright since the light isint aimed to that part of the projector, and there isint that noticable difference of light from the center of each beam, to the outter parts.

so in conclusion, tinkering around will make a difference, but if you dont, its not that big of a deal.

Won't JDM projectors send light directly into the incoming traffic's eye level ??

Yep, no one should run un-modified LHD projectors in US, ESPECIALLY not with HIDS, you're gonna get someone head-on destroy you!
