Hi, my name is Aaron and I am new here and am looking to find a 1996-99 toyota celica Gt. I am really looking for a hatchback that has the sunroof and some add ons and I am looking for one that has ABS brakes on it as well. I am looking to spend about $3000-$3500 for this car. If the car has mods already done to it I will offer more money. I have about $6,000 I can invest in a car to get it all fixed up. The car needs to be in pretty good condition everything needs to be good on it such as the clutch, brakes, etc as I don't want a car where I will have to replace everything on it. I am in Idaho near Boise but I might be willing to drive to pick up a car that is not too far away or I could have it shipped to me. I am mainly looking for something that is near Idaho.

If anyone is interested or knows of something that is for sale please message me or email me with all the details of the car and any repairs/maintanence done on it. Again the 6th generation celica is my favorite generation it looks nice and I have always wanted one. smile.gif Thanks!

Hey thanks for the information and yeah I appreciate that you are keeping an eye out for me smile.gif Yeah I am getting an $8,000 loan so I am either looking for one that has low miles that can be fixed up or i will spend more money with one that is already all fixed up. Again thanks!

I am still unsure of price and it is not a GT but I plan on selling my car.

To be honest, you're gonna need to fork out a little more for a 6gc with the specs you want, especially low miles. I paid 8g for mine with 77k and all the factory goodies from a dealer, you're probably gonna need to spend 5-6 for yours. Good luck w/ the search hope to see you with one soon

Well I am getting a loan for $8000 so I can get one. I would like to be able to spend a little less on one but I will have $8000 for one.

st205 sways IIRC will only work with the super strut supsension.
also you have a FMIC, AND velocity stacks, AND twin intake?

nice profile.
twilly, good luck finding your celica, just stay away from this kids.

I'll take pics of the twin today hopefully but all i did for the velocity stack is connected it to one intake and mount the stack to the passenger highbeam slot. (last year) Its not as hard as you think if you can hold a tool then you can do it. No disrespect but for those who can't do it themselves don't need to think others can't.

As far as the tranny it was a challenge but thats where bracket mods come in to play.

FYI for the millionth time the FMIC is whats left of the old swap. ( NON FUNTIONAL ) its just kinda hard to take off considering i molded the front bumper but if its that big of a deal to where people get their panties in a bunch when they see it i will cut off the bumper and remold just for you.

Again no intended disrespect but some people need to ask before they start talkin S***.

I hope you find a car that is great for you. I do have a 95 at one of my buddies car lots for 3995 but it has 211xxx miles. It would be great for a frest ground up project but i would change out the engine, tranny, etc first cause of the milage but thats just me.

BEST OF LUCK

I'm going to just call it out noober.

ST205 NEVER came with a torque converter...NO ST205 GT-4 Celica came as an AUTOMATIC
Thus no "ST205 torque converter" exists laugh.gif

Not to mention - we got this ^^^ Hence my post above yours and Pressure's before that. I wasn't calling BS on the idea of the HB delete short ram - just commenting on it's ubber-ghetto-ness. In fact I've done it before for a ricer friend of mine [- the velocity stack idea] - it's just not worth the ugliness. How much HP you figure you got out of that?
I called BS cause I just had to see the setup biggrin.gif
I don't know about you but when I smell BS in a potential sales transaction I call it out on behalf of the buyer as he/she may not be knowledgeable enough to smell it him/herself. Don't like it? Post pics of this ST-205 Torque converter [good call BTW Playr]

you do know a torque converter is NOT a transmission....its a part within an automatic transmission....
This might help you learn about transmissions so you know what you are talking about
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/automatic-transmission.htm

this is a TQ converter btw ____________________________and this is a flux capacitor laugh.gif

To be honest i have no idea. I haven't had a chance or need to dyno the car. Probably not much to brag about but there is a lil difference. Mostly cause one port is at the fender and one is straight. Was in the nose but i cut it down.

I used the intercooling pipe after i swapped back.

They told me it was a transmission from as st205. Im not a dumb ass but yes i should have listed trans not converter. Good job acting smart.

Hey Twilly - Found this for you. needs some TLC but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a little time and body work. Bidding is super low so far but reserve not yet met.
WTF is with that wing tho? And tow hitch? laugh.gif
