#1: Some pads squeal til they get totally seated. Many other possible reasons why as well, but it is probably that they aren't seated totally yet(depending on how long ago you put on the new brake pads)
Partial answer to #2: You'll have to do a rear disk conversion. There's quite a few threads stating what you'll need from a gt. Prices will vary on deals that you can get on the parts. #3: You can buy just springs, but if you still have stock shocks, might as well replace em while you're in there. A spring compressor will make the job a heck of a lot easier. Answer to the p.s.: Go to my controls, then signature(should be on the left hand side) then put in what you want -------------------- |

Well stickies may help alot on some of these....look into the how to section
On your lowering question....debaized is right on .......I suggest KYB gas struts i love them....as far as springs Eibach, Tein, Tanabe, depending on your budget maybe some adjustable coil overs if your swimming in money? yes you will need a spring compressor go to auto zone and borrow one.
