Just wondering.
I washed it in my tub with my shower-head and I'm not sure if that's the correct way to clean it. -------------------- |

If it's rechargable/reusable you should rinse it from the INSIDE OUT, to push dirt and debris away from inside out. Then let it sit in the sun for 15-30 minutes. Next take your filter oil and spray it down. Shake out the excess and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Then reinstall.

um air hose thats all i do lol But they specifically tell you not to do that or use a hairdryer. The air hose will make the gaps wider causing the oil to be less effective and the hairdryer will shrink the fibers. K&N has the exact procedure on their website. the only PITA is waiting for the cone to dry.
