[B][SIZE=7][COLOR=green]People tell me there are negatives and positives on molding on a kit to your car. I am debating whether or not to mold my kit...I have the blitz front bumper and like when I was getting use to how long the bumper was I kept on scrapin it against elevated driveways and little bumps and the screws that were put on came off on the right side. now it's comin off on the other side. I was thinkin about molding it so that it wouldn't cause this problem...now I'm debating...On either doing that and repainting my car again..or just buying a less-hassle free front bumper and get rid of the blitz?

All I gotta say is that when you mold ur bumper when that stuff cracks then ur screwed cus ur going to spend a butt load of money to get it fixed agen. So if you are willing to do that then be my guest. Just watch out for bumps or debris on the road that'll mess it up. i was thinkin bout gettin the blitz style bumper to and molding it but the negatives outweighed the positives for me.

Naw i stuck with the veilside style one and I'm currently geting it repaired and repainted ryte now at a shop. Well i don't know if you have to make any cutting on the fender to fit the blitz style one but it looks like you do. But if you could fit it over the fender then that's kool. Umm as for molding it on...I wouldn't mold it. If it looks good just bolting it on then go ahead n do that instead of molding it on. . But dayum 3 grand for it??? Also, just remember that once u mold it on it'll be on there for good so watch where you drive n don't crack it.

Damn I'm so scared to mold it on. I'm going to mold on the rear and then the sides. That's all. The front I am thinkin of changing it cause the blitz is too long and it likes catching the floor....LoL it's expensive to maintain..yeah 3 grand for paint and molding...i'm trying to find out where this guy paid $1800

Yeah...If R2 Auto was still around I woulda went there to get my kit done n molded for like 1000 but then the guy woulda sent me to PJ Bonafacio to do the paint job and I knwo for a fact PJ would charge me up the ass for a paint job. Yeah well too bad the owners split n sold their whole business n now one of them is busy makin bodykit prototypes. He made that dope ass 7th gen widebody celica. He's too kool for me now

LOL... i guess thats my signal to come in. Sorry i took so long but i got the #. THe guys name is Sars (sp). Its in Whittier/La Puente, pretty much between the 10 and the 60 fwy off of the 605 fwy. The number is 626-961-2425. Tell him that you heard about him thru JESUS's friend, David, the guy w/ the Black celica. According to Jesus he is REALLY GOOD!! He can pretty much do whatever you want. IT helps if the stuff (kits) you need is made out of fiber glass he told me if it needs to be modeled on or modified. *Jesus has a grand national, and had a RED w/ YELLOW PEARL integra just incase you need a lil more info* Maybe you'll end up seeing my car there pretty damn SOON.... Yeah but they're ran by a bunch of idiots that dunno **** bout cars now. So now i don't even consider them a shop anymore cus it's just a place where people hang out and people within that group buy stuff from them. but they move to Walnut like round fairway n valley somewhere. You'd probably know where that is if ur from that 626 area.
