are any of those parts for sale? there are a few things i want to inquire about...

my uncle drives a 1st gen celica. last time i saw it was 12 years ago and all i remember was it was mint! probably has less than 100k kms still cuz he rarely drives it.

also, i've noticed there are quite a bit of imported cars from japan that are converted to LHD. i want to know how they are doing this?

hey gerald im not very fluent in english laugh.gif

yup there are 4 sale used and new.

there are a lot of oldschoolers restoring their 1st gen celicas. After restoring their old cars it can sell at the same price as a 6th gen or higher biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

they mold the dashboard rewire everything, move everything right to left some have bad conversion not all are perfect you have to check it to a local tuner some have to rewire again other parts are been remove like mine the abs is been remove isn't bad if mine are remove? whats the effect?

we have an sw20 3rd gen. red one of the first batch jdm imported from japan first thing we noticed is the dashboard got a bad mold luckily thats the only problem that we noticed all are great engine, steering, interior electrical and ecu wiring are great so we've ordered a lhd dash from taiwan more cheaper than usdm and installed already biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

ill post some pic about jdm conversion from right to left soon biggrin.gif

I'm sorry about that, man. As you can see it is a Philippine Forum so we naturally use our native language when we communicate.
However, we are willing to use the English language if necessary. So what do u want to know? biggrin.gif

the replica gt-four blocks are almost identical to the real ones. personally i would stay away from replica bumpers only because of fitment issues. i wouldn't worry if they're just blocks. if you find some real used ones in taiwan, i will trade you for mine + $ biggrin.gif

isn't banaue the place where there are tuner and wheel shops galore? when i was there it was like being in a town full of candy shops! wink.gif
next time i go there i'm coming back with a set of rims...

yeah disneyland! we locals call it the disneyland biggrin.gif place for kids to have all the good stuff laugh.gif It really is an unforgettable place! You can find tons of jdms
biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Only celica's engine and suspension parts are available there though since ST 191 Toyota corona has thesame flat form as Celica. There are other places to look for such parts there's Banaue, Blumentritt, Evangelista and some storage rooms. Sad to say thought that celica body parts, kits most especially jdms are very rare but you can order some parts it takes about 3 to 6 months or a year. So when are you coming back to the Philippines? Are you planning to buy a GT4? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif What kind of rims are you planning to buy? evanghelista & blumintrit are also good source of rims wink.gif

welcome.. its nice to see an actual 6GC in the ph... it took quite a while before they can get it down there. San ka sa pinas? I was from Pasig, grew up there, finished Univeristy at UST and moved to Toronto. If you have lots of questions about 6GC, this is the place where you want to be. We'll all be happy to answer all your questions to our abilities and knowledge.

I have lot of friends want to bring there car here but its not advisable because taxes cost more than the amount you pay for the car. Its wise to just buy a car here and bolt your mods from your celi abroad. i bet you got a connection so you could bring your car easily wink.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I was from Pasig, grew up there, finished Univeristy at UST and moved to Toronto. If you have lots of questions about 6GC, this is the place where you want to be. We'll all be happy to answer all your questions to our abilities and knowledge.

Nope, ako lang nag-inquire sa 205/55 tires.

To gain more power from 3sge, i'd rather swap it to redtop beams than convert to ITB's biggrin.gif

Hello Mga Kabayan,

I'm new to this site, I just got myself a new toy this Christmas. biggrin.gif

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3229799/2

I've been a Toyota driver since my first car; used to drive a 1st gen Celica, a 5th and a 6th gen 2DR Coronas (Macho), and a 7th gen Corona way back in highschool and early college years. Nowadays, I'm using a 10th gen Corona - ST191.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/861659

Hope to hear and learn from you guys here soon.

-Ed

BTW I'm also registered at CCPh since '04 and kind of recognize some of the members here from their "posts". Is Beams_SSIII = TAZMAN888? smile.gif Very nice SSIII!

Just to let you guys know... we are not sigle-ing out races here, although there's a thread created about 6gphilippines, please expose your selves to other threads. There are lots of good info and people here on this site. Please participate on other threads and not only on this. I say this as a proud filipino and I just noticed that most of our kababayans are lounging on this thread. So, in behalf of all my friends at 6gc, I would like to welcome you edm747 and other filipinos on the site. Mabuhay...

Thanks for the warm welcome Jeunesse. Yes, I will post/participate on the other threads here in 6gc. I just registered here a few days ago, and wanted to first read most of the previous threads so I won't be posting "double posts". wink.gif I chanced upon this thread and just thought I'd make my first post here to say "Kamusta" to you guys.
