k so when i was takin auto tech we had a comp that told us what we needed for our cars
when i dont have a celica manual
i think the comp said it was 4.1Quartz of oil
can anyone confirum?

too much oil is just as bad as too little, just FYI.

I always change mine and put 4 in it.
I keep a 5th bottle for topping off later on.

YOu put until you can measure it is full on the dip stick, you can never say 4, 4.5 or 5 because you will never drain the oil exactly the same every time. YOu put 3.5 quarts first, turn on the car for a few minutes, turn it off and let it sit for some time. Check again the dip stick and fill remaining accordingly. I have the manual and this method is by the book.

open fill cap
drain oil
remove filter
install drain plug
install filter
install 4 quarts of oil
replace fill cap
start engine for 20 seconds
turn off engine
wait 5 minutes
check dipstick
add oil until full
