*** PICTURES BELOW***
I'm selling two sets of rear disc brakes. Both pairs are from 6GC GTs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The 1st set has all the parts needed for you to replace the ST drums with the GT discs. Including spindles, rear parking, parking cables, backing plates, rotors (rusted), pads (need new), calipers..... bla bla bla... $250 pick up or plus shipping ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The 2nd set replaces the ENTIRE rear wheel setups that are attached to your control arms. Again, rotors are rusted, and need new pads. This is the most simple and quickest replacement as all you have to do is: - Unscrew your strut, rear arm, front arm, and strut rod. - Take the entire setup out and swap in the disc version. - Detach, and attach brake lines. - Follow and replace drum parking cable with the disc version. - Replace yucky rotors and yucky pads with new ones. - Tah dah... $350 pick up or plus shipping ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Shipping Note: 1st set package-able in 1 box, 60lbs. 2nd set package in TWO boxes, each box 40lbs. Ship from 91789 (Walnut, CA) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This post has been edited by tomazws: Sep 7, 2008 - 11:11 PM -------------------- |

I'd hate to dump on your sale/thread...but that's a lot of rust. Wouldn't those fall apart after a couple months?

No, the rust is on the rotors, not the brake setup themselves. In the pictures you can see that the backing plates, cables and calipers look pretty good. Plus his asking price is very good, these can often run about $100 more than what he's asking.

Thanks Griff
If you leave your car parked in an open lot for a week (in an humid area), you'll see the same rust on the rotor. But then again, you might want to get new rotors as I'm unsure about the brand and quality of those rotors. -------------------- |

Guys talking about rust; open up your own Celica and look! The same parts will be pretty rusty after a week without use of the car.
