Hi all 6G's.
I've been looking with wonder and surprise at all the things you people have done with your 6G Celicas. I have a Curren (ST-206). This is Based on the 6G Celica Coupe with a different head light and Bonnet. I love driving my Car the G6's rock. My Car is mostly stock and I'll upload some Pics if I don't get Flamed for not showing a Celica. My Love Affair started when my Brother-in-Law bought a G6 Celica and took me for a ride in it. When time came for me to purchase a new Car I went looking for a G6 Celica but they were ether to expensive or way too much Mileage on them. Then I layed eyes on the Curren and when I drove her I just had to own her. OK now for the Questions: [list] The car is a Right Hand Drive Auto and has 2 buttons next to the Gear Selector. a) A PWR button b) A Manual Button Can Any one tell me what these buttons do? welcome. I doubt you'd get flamed here. The majority of us are from the US where we didn't get Curren's so we enjoy pics of them.

Hey,
great to see another new zealander on here. Where abouts in New Zealand are you. I think the PWR button makes the shift point later ie let the motor rev for longer. Manual button may keep it in the gear when you use when you go down to 2nd etc. what motor have you got in her? the fe or the ge? -------------------- 1994年 トヨタ 神々しい My Facebook My Bebo QUOTE (loll6g @ Nov 6, 2008 - 5:53 AM) automatics are for lazy ass drivers who jst want there car so that they can look cool |

OK OK Pics
1) Front (no really) Panasonic Head Unit (not Pico USB) Installed Tweeters Installed 6.5" 2 way Pioneers in back Found this under Driver's (R/H) Seat, What is it? Was looking to put 8" subs in front doors but will this will cost me $170 EACH so I'm going to put 6.5" in the from and run a sub or 2 in the back. Want to start a thread about staging the sound in a car, as I have read that a lot of people strive to have the sound Staged in front of them like a consert. ME I like to be in the sound, the feeling of being surrounded but the sound, I'm on stage with them, not watching. Let battle commence on this subject..... Curren has identical interior to Celica so you'd never notice the difference when driving it compared with a similar spec Celica (eg, 3s-fe powered). Could even convert it to a Celica Coupe at some stage if you liked the rally style headlights better.
Thats a very healthy number of kilometers you've got on your clock.. Nice find, that motor is in it's prime. -------------------- Mike W

Interior Yes Better head light NO NO and again NO I have come to think that the Curren looks better in the light Department.
SO bring on the Flames and Comments .... -------------------- WWSideWinder - 1996 - 3S-FE - Auckland New Zealand

Personally I like the WRC ST205 GT-Four, That's my image of "Celica" in all it's glory... Pretty much everything my car isn't but since I can't yet afford a turbo car, I settle with 1 model down.

I see cool little differences between your car and the US coupe model. Rear windshield wiper for one. Interesting.
