Have any of you guys ever asked a waitress out? And if so, how did you do it? And how did you tell that she was genuinely interested in you instead of your tip?

I'm almost embarrassed to say admit it, but I'm smitten by this one girl and can't seem to get her off my mind tongue.gif

Which restaurant/bar/stripclub is this? Basically, you can ask her just like you'd ask any other girl out. The only way to tell if she's interested in you or not is if she gives you her number/email/AIM or not.

Say this verbatim:

Hey, would you be interested in going out sometime?

Wait for answer.

1- she gives you her number too easy at first you think the feeling was mutual, then you find out she give her number to anyone who ask and goes out with everyone who offers ( been there )

2- she says " it's against my work policy " you insisted and then she falls ( good ground here )

3 she says " it's against my work policy " and keep and strong position about it ( been here too )

I must say I enjoyed it the number one, for what it lasted so no complaints

a waitress is just a girl that happens to work in a restaurant, so just approach her like you would any other girl, just don't try to impress her with big tips, that will send the wrong impression, and of course she will also take the money lol

smitten is such a legit word...

just ask her if she'd like to get something to eat when she gets off work, real casual like. if she gives off a timid vibe, give her ur number and tell her to call u up if she changes her mind. U might wanna ask one of her coworkers if she has a bf first...or gf wink.gif

Yes, been in the same boat. But don't be like me man, it got me no where. What happened was that she wasn't serving our table, but she was really busy. She knew I kept looking at her and wouldn't look my way, and when she did, she smiled before making eye contact, because she knew it. She walked out and she knew I was looking, smiled and then looked at me with a big smile and looked away still smiling. The waitress on my table was really nice and seemed happy as she smiled at me, until I asked her the other waitresses name, and she told me, then I said I am stupidly shy and gave her my number to give to the other waitress. Well they both went in the back and came out, the one I gave the number to was all smiling, and the other one for our table didn't even look at me any more after that or ask if we were ok. LOL

To make a long story short, I never heard from her. I did say bye to her as I left, but that wasn't good enough. Just go to talk her. She is a person, of flesh and bone. Not a Goddess. That should make it easier. Just remember that all human beings go No.2 (Yeah I am talking about taking a $#!T), and if ever you get embarrassed or intimidated, just picture them on the pot whistling a tune. LOL

Yeah, excellent and simple. Just make sure you don't like to eat there though. The place I met the waitress at, I hate that place. Stewart Anderson's Black Angus?! You would think the price of the food there would make it worthwhile, and oooooooooh nooooooooo. Me no likes it.

kindasad.gif Any chick I'm about to get fresh with, I don't wanna imagine them on the can. laugh.gif

As for OP: man, In my humble experience... Ask nicely if they'd be intrested in doing something with you (calmly and nicely; and make sure you're looking her in her eyes; especially if she's a hooters waitress rolleyes.gif it's difficult, i know, but you GOTTA do this if you're to succeed)

OR:

Plan B: is to make as much chatter with her as you get the oppertunity (w/o being ridiculous about it) and ask if she has a BF, when she says 'no', then you say something like "cool, me neither" like it's all a big joke. She'll drop her number off the next time she passes you, or before you leave. biggrin.gif Did anyone know that Chuck-E-Cheese is a great place to pick up waitress's BTW? tongue.gif

EDIT: you can slip the "hey wanna go out sometime" into "Plan B" right after you say "me neither" so if she shoots you down, it all looked like a big joke and you can come back to the restaurant. biggrin.gif but IME; this has a 100% chance of picking up a single girl.

I used to be like that. Now I am more into cars to be bothered with women, I just like to look. I would really like a girlfriend or girlfriend potential girl, and I am tired of being a manwhore (LOL Shut up Jeff Lew!). Too much drama and other potential hazards from just "messing around" to be cautious of. So as of now, I just sit back, look, and just keep on dumping $$$$ into my car. "Racers don't need girlfriends" LOL (Initial D).

Just walk up to her and use lyrics from a song, I am sure she would get a kick out of that. Just be like "Baby girl, you know my situation", or like this........

Hey, sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner
And like, sometimes I feel like my only friend
It might be the city I live in, the city of angels
But like, lonely as I am... Together we cry

I would just straight up ask her. If she says it's against her work policy then ask what time her shift is over. Be there when she gets off work and ask again. She'll appreciate that.
