is it illegal to not have the front turn signals?? can you be legal with just the sides?

Federal law requires that the front blinkers to be amber or white. The side markers dont blink, they just light up. what if the side markers blink, its not hard to runn it to the flashers... just a matter of having them stay on at all other times, but idk that seems useless

i don't really wanna i just got a invader body kit coming tomorrow (sooooo excited!!)
