currens are amazing haha.

a curren is bacially a celica coupe with the front end of a camry. the tail lights and the splitters fit the coupe and vert. not hatch. usually i see currens in new zealand, austrailia, and japan. not sure about europe.

Yeah my mate has a '96 curren, the only differences compared to mine aside from the hatch/coupé business are the lights and the colour of the stripes on the seats. Under the bonnet etc it's 100% identical

Is it really the front end of a Camry, or just something similar? I've looked before and thought they looked quite similar, but I thought the Curren was a little bit more aggressive.

Hey, just a thought, has anybody ever put a Curren front end on a hatchback? If you have, you should PM me some pics. No need to clutter the thread.

I don't plan on doing it, I'm just curious what it looks like.

Close enough lol. I actually thought I saw a Curren the other day because I saw some douchebag who put some gay Ebay halo headlights in his Camry. It looked a lot like a Curren from across the parking lot, then I realized I was just an idiot and I'm the only person around here who has even heard of a Curren.

I hate to say it, but I agree. Currens are great and they look amazing, but I see too many S14's running around for a Curren to be unique. If I were to do a Curren conversion on my car, I would be barraged with incessant "Hey, that's a nice looking Nissan you've got there. I've never seen those tail lights on a 240SX before."

I know the feeling. Alot of people think that my Supra is a Mitsubishi Starion/ Chrysler Conquest. Even though it's got a GIANT decal across the back that says S U P R A. I like the looks of the Curren, but I think that it's quite a subdued design as compared to that of a Celica.
