The underneath of the hood, 2 holes are ready, just need to remove the lid
However, there are another 2 holes u require to drill Masking tape Place the Hood spoiler on the masking tape and use a pen to mark the place for drilling Then drill the holes one by one I use a cirgarette butt to drip some paint on the hole to avoid corrosion Then tuck the spoiler into those holes and screw back with This post has been edited by vincent_doggy: Nov 27, 2008 - 2:58 PM -------------------- |

Hmmm... very good job! And pretty interesting technique - using the sticky tape to avoid dents around the drilled holes. Did it help?

Nice, Vincent! Looks good! I agree with Jaws4God, I wouldn't be brave enough to drill into my hood lol.

Nice job and great write up and pics
Smart move using the Masking tape - helps to mark out where the holes are to go and stops the drill from slipping all over the place Neat idea with the cigarette butt Waiting for mine to be sent. Don't have any issues with drilling my hood. Hints: Use a variable speed drill. Always use a proper sharp metal drill, use a small size to do a pilot hole and then increment the drilll size each time until the right size hole is acheived. Just be patient and methodical.
