Sup guys, Out of the ppl here who have the HYPER REV book on the celica. If you turn to page 21, on the bottom right hand corner there is a ST 202 with a gt4 hood.
That gap in the front, is that how big it is, or is it worst than that? |

i have never heard of that book, but i am guessing it is accurate. the gap isnt that bad, i think it looks like an added air inlet personally. it is pretty small and i still think it looks clean if u have the hood without the bumper. and why r u asking about an ST202 anyway? i dont really know, but since ur in the U.S.A. i would assume that you don't have an SS-II. but its the same body either way. so yea the gap isnt that bad. if you are psychotic about everything being flush, just get both or a custom hood.

If you just want the hood without the gap and without the front bumper, you could get a C-One hood made out of carbon fiber or aluminum, but that'd cost a lot.

This is the book that i'm talking about.
i bought it when i first bought my first celica. Inside it contains EVERY single modification possible for any celica, any year. I've been using it as a guide for my project. Inside that book, there is a pic of a ST202 with a GT4 hood. There is a lil gap, but i'm not sure if that's correct, or if it's been modified. Cause personally, by looking at the pic, it looks great. Cause it's only a little gap. Almost like a small vent like Pvc99gTsaid. but i was wanted to know for sure if that's how big the gap is. I'll try to scan the picture when i get home tonight so you can see it. This post has been edited by sphinx_race911: Oct 3, 2003 - 7:19 PM |

Hi This was asked a few months ago, check out this link for info and photos: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5259&st=20 For those interested in the Hyper Rev magazines Toysport have them. For a bit more info, check out this japanese company : www.japanparts.com There are different volumes for different cars - the celica one is Volume 30. Although it is written in Japanese there are hundreds of full colour photos. -------------------- |
