polk speakers or Audiobahn?

But for the question at hand I say Polk as well. I personally have Alpine Type S speaker and they they are good but would be a lot better amplified. Like Andason and Matt said though, listen to some MB Quarts and see how you like them. Some people don't like them because the highs can be a bit bright due to their titanium tweeters, but some people(like me) love them. They're definitely going to be by next speakers for my front doors. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

yea coomer thats exactly what i was going to say but people might not understand what i meant

the JL model i posted sounds a little warmer than the MB's. they are still very very good. probably next in line to the MB's.

But in the end I ended up getting a pair of CDT Audio CL-61's. The sound on these is just amazing. No matter what you do make sure to check out www.thezeb.com. Most of their prices are pretty good plus free shipping.

I got those and the 5.25". I have heard the other two and they just don't seem to compare to JL in my opinion. Plus there is a 4-5 year standard warrenty with JL and I guarentee they won't bust.

these do sound really good!

for component speakers I would go with JL or MB Quarts... for subs I would go with Audiobann - there subs are clean
