So I was looking at a 2003 Lexus IS 300, not to buy, cuz I think they're ugly. But I saw this. All the controls are set up as ours right? I mean I know that us Convertibles have the buttons by the cigarette lighter, but who says we can't bring the wires around and have it work on this. And it looks like it would be the same size, that it would fit in the original hole. Plus then where the old buttons use to be we could get the heated seat buttons, that I saw on that other post.

it appears that the IS controls are a different size (looks to long to me). If I understand correctly you want to rewire the rear window switches to the small rear windows on the vert? I'm willing to bet that the mirror controls have the same plugs, and I'm almost certain the windows/locks have a different plug so you'd need the plug too with a few inches of wiring to splice into.

That is quite interesting, I'm surprised that the layout is the same on a younger and more luxurious car...might speak for the epicness that is a 6GC?

6GC switches only have 2 window switches... i think he wants to control his rear windows on his vert at the same location. so 6GC switches would not help.
