You know how the Euro front splitter seems to have something missing when you have a side skirt and it installed? It is because its too short or the height of the splitters is not long enough. Now picture this... what if I add a garage door rubber to the splitters? It will give me at least an inch more longer and it will look more square to to side skirt. I'm going to try this and see how it look. Your opinions are welcome.

Picturing it...picturing it...no, I'd rather not want to. You'll get a "go-kart" look in my opinion.

So I did it just to try and see if it will look ok...

The car is a mess due to non-stop snow here in Toronto and I apologize for the bad pics. It was cold and I don't like to stay out in the garage that long, I also didn't have my tripod with me so some are blurry.

what do you guys and gals think? Did it get a "go-kart" look? I pretty much like how it turned out but it's just me.

Maybe if your splitters were black it would just look like an extension of them, since they are body colored it looks kinda strange with that black piece there.

yea it's just a trial anyway. I'll see if I can get the rubber colour matched so that it would look cleaner.

Thats a nice idea man, i like it, although i do agree that painting the spilters black could work better. And mabey if u could somehow get the curvature of the rubber lip smoother around where it meets the wheel arch. But because of the color difference i dont know if this fits in with the look of the skirts though..... but from the pics looks nice. thumbsup.gif

yea I've been thinking on how to work around that curvature near the wheel. I still have no idea how to make it straight and square. I'll update this thread if ever I come up with something. Thanks for the props Harvester and gokarter. Thanks for the comments too Manny and Hurley.
