I didn't know their was a 94 celica gts, but my sister has an 86 mr2 and i can voutch that it is very slow. My celica could smoke her mr2, my corolla was faster than her mr2 too.

The cars weigh about the same... but the Celica GTS (same as US model GT) has more power and torque... you'll take the mr2...

im pretty sure that 1st gen MR2's weigh in at 1900lbs. they are light but the SC version is in the mid to high 15's. chances are the NA version is atleast 1 second slower and thats not taking into account the age of the engine and wear and tear. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

im taking it you are saying solo as in autoX, both cars would be very good for autoX, id have to give it to the celica stock for sure, but i think the AW11 can be quite a monster as well if you updated the suspension and added a few bolt ons

yes. solo. thats what we call it over here.
it would be a close one through the cones.. but the Celicas torque would definatly help it out of the turns... |
