hi there guys, ive been told i have a bad wheel bearing so, im just wondering how 2 get 2 it. I have the car up and the front p side wheel off. then i come 2 this odd shaped nut with like 20 teeth and a clip on it (splitpin?) which im unsure how to remove, i dont wanna just plow ahead and get it off the wrong way.

also with the wheel bearing I understand that ill have to get it hydrolicly (sp) popped out and pressed in? and auto shop should be able 2 do this right?

cheers lads any help much appreciated.

I think your talking about the castle nut and the cotter pin? Its not that hard really, but your probly gonna have to take it into a shop and have them use an arbor press to get that bearing set in there. But check out the search feature, I found this for you.....bearing removal
