so i had an idea the other day to mess with the bucket thing under the radio. i cut a piece of clear plastic to fit over it and cut out a celica dragon in the middle. im smoking out the plastic right now. but im planing on putting a red neon behind it hooked up to a music interface. what you think?

Very original!! The only lights I've seen that may work are L.E.D. unless you want to figure how to wire a colored 194 bulb and socket. Great idea & good luck.

It wouldnt be hard to wire some 194 sockets in there. You could hook it up to the radio power and it would come on then, or wire it to a switch.

Just go to a junkyard and grab some 194 sockets, and get some leds from superbrightleds.com

Props for taking the time to try and do something custom... but the actual piece needs a bit more work.

Cool idea. It looks good. But the lines of the dragon need to be cleaned up a bit, smoothen out all the rough lines and it'll look great.

And i apologize for criticizing as I could never do that, my hand is shakier than a 70 yr old man. biggrin.gif
