how common is it for a 6gc to have cruise and if one doesnt how much would it cost to add it

along with the wiring and the cruise control computer, you would also need a new gauge cluster with the cruise light, a new steering wheel with the cruise control deal on it etc etc. it could be done technically but itd be a PITA

Not sure how many have the option, but I imagine it's pretty common.
There are aftermarket units; you wouldn't necessarily need a new cluster or steering wheel. Some use electric, others use engine vacuum. -------------------- |

well i looked into it also because i dont have cruise control, and it sounds like its more trouble than its worth, i dont know how else you would set the speed without the unit on the steering wheel but if it can be done id love to hear it too

Having cruise control saves gas when driving on flat roads. Also you can rest your feet but where I live people drive way to slow I don't use it that much cause have to overtake the slow people all the time
