Hey guys, ive recently noticed a foul odor entering the cabin, but im not sure where its originating from. i sniffed around and noticed its not coming from the engine bay (i have a leak betwen my manifold and turbo flange, didnt smell it there) so i check my tailpipe and there it was, the odor was very similar to sulfur. any ideas what it could be? im thinking i ruined a sensor, (car is running VERY rich 10. on the afm)

it sounds like you have a failed cat converter, or your running sulfer rich gasoline. Try getting gas at another gas station and see if that helps. If that doesnt help getting a new cat and oxygen senor might help.

start using another gas station - very common on the rx8s... converters are not cheap(emissions 90k? warranty)/ we told customers to switch gas stations. buy time customers visceral/somatic sensory threshold levels will adjust.

yeah, first thing i will check is the 02 sensor, its a magnaflow cat, but i have a 94 and in my state there are no emissions checks for cars before 96, so i would just as soon cut that thing out
